Our story

One free afternoon. Three very different ideas of fun.

Hi, I'm Alexander.

My wife and I are raising three wonderfully different boys.

Our boys rarely want exactly the same thing. One might be interested in dinosaurs, another could spend all afternoon building with LEGO, and another may simply want somewhere to play.

Finding something that works can mean bouncing between library calendars, museum sites, parks, community programs, and event pages. We knew there had to be an easier way to see what was happening and whether it might fit our family.

That is what led me to start Chudoly: a calmer way to find activities that fit your children, your schedule, and the day you actually have.

Sometimes the best family day is simply the right activity at the right time.

The idea behind Chudoly

More discovery. Less searching.

Parents should not need a dozen open tabs to plan one good afternoon. Fewer tabs and fewer dead ends mean more room for spontaneous yeses.

When the details are easier to trust, you can close the laptop, get everyone out the door, and spend that saved time together. The adventure does not have to be big to become a memory.

Family moments

Moments we almost missed

Some of our favorite family days began with an event listing that would have been easy to miss. These were not elaborate plans. They simply met one of our boys where his interests already were.

Family memories by the ocean, at an aquarium, building with blocks, climbing at a playground, and playing in the sand
These are the days we want to remember.
A father and two children meeting Bluey at a dance party
The biggest smile all weekend.

A Saturday in Rocklin

A Bluey surprise at just the right time.

One of our boys absolutely loves Bluey. We found a Bluey dance party in Rocklin just in time, and an ordinary Saturday became something he talked about for weeks.

Two children beside a yellow Pixar Cars character display at an automobile museum
We never knew this existed.

A day trip to Reno

The right find for the right child.

One of our boys is completely obsessed with Pixar Cars. We discovered an exhibit at an automobile museum in Reno that we probably never would have known about otherwise.

A meaningful Saturday, close to home.

A Saturday close to home

The best discoveries are sometimes right around the corner.

We nearly missed a Native American cultural workshop at our local library, where the boys built birdhouses, painted clay pots, and explored hands-on activities together.

Children assembling toys during Moon Day at the Aerospace Museum of California
A stellar Saturday we almost missed.

Moon Day at the Aerospace Museum

A space-filled Saturday for every young explorer.

We found Moon Day at the Aerospace Museum of California just in time. The kids tried hands-on STEM activities, climbed inside real aircraft, and followed their curiosity through the museum.

Sometimes the best family days are not expensive. They are simply the right activity at the right time.
